No one plans to get sick or hurt, but most people need medical care at some point. While your regular health insurance policy will pay for the hospitalisation expenses there are many incidental expenses which may not be covered.

Future Hospicash is a cover that provides cash benefit in case of hospitalisation to avoid drain in your savings.

Pre Acceptance Medical Tests

Age up to 55 Years
Medical tests waived subject to no adverse health declaration on the proposal form.

Age Over 55 Years
Medical tests required for specific plans and 50% of the test charges are reimbursed, if you or family members are insured with us.

Medical Report Validity
30 days from the day tests were done. Medical tests will be done in our empanelled diagnostic centre.

What’s Covered

  • ICU Benefit Within the City of Residence

    You will get twice of the per day benefit if you or your family member is hospitalised in an ICU within the city of your residence.

  • ICU Benefit Outside Your City of Residence:

    You will get thrice of the per day benefit if you or your family member is hospitalised in an ICU outside the city of residence.

  • An Additional Convalescence Benefit

    An additional convalescence benefit of Rs 5000 for hospitalisation of more than 10 days is also payable to you or your family member, once per hospitalisation event.

  • ICU Benefit:

    ICU benefit is available for maximum period of 10 days for each hospitalisation and maximum 20 days during the policy period.

Exclusions of this plan

  • Pre-Existing Diseases

    Pre-existing diseases will be covered after a waiting period of 48 months.

  • Specific Diseases

    Waiting period of 24 months for certain diseases like benign prostatic hypertrophy, hernia of all types, hydrocele etc.

  • Hospitalisation for Certain Treatments and Surgeries:

    Hospitalisation for cosmetic treatments, plastic surgery, refractive error corrective procedures, experimental, investigational or unproven procedures or treatments.

  • Hospitalisation for General Debility

    Hospitalisation for general debility, ‘Run-down’ condition or rest cure, sexually transmitted disease, intentional self-injury.

  • Hospitalisation for Fertility Related Treatments

    Hospitalisation for Pregnancy and fertility related treatments.

  • Non-Allopathic Treatment:

    Non-Allopathic Treatment / Hospitalisation.

  • Hospitalisation in Case of Illnesses

    Hospitalisation for any mental illness or psychiatric illness.

What happens next after you have purchased

When you become a Future Generali Health Customer, you will receive a membership pack containing the following:

  • Claim Form

    You can intimate your claim online or submit the form to your nearest branch or alternatively email us.

  • Complaint / Feedback Form

    Should you have any complaints/feedback, you can fill in the form and submit it to the nearest branch or email us.

  • Grievance Redressal

    Procedure along with list of ombudsman addresses. In case you are not satisfied with the resolution to the complaint as provided by us, you may approach the Insurance Ombudsman for review.

  • You can expect to receive this pack within 12-15 working days of purchasing our health insurance.

From the expiry date of the policy, you get 30 days grace period for renewal.

Free Look Period

If you are not satisfied with the coverage, and terms and conditions of the policy, you can opt for cancellation of the policy within 15 days from the date of receipt of the policy documents, provided there has been no claim and you shall be entitled to a refund as per the policy terms and conditions.
