There are 4 different plans: Gold, Platinum, Topaz and Ruby. All plans are available with individual and floater option and with Lifelong renewal facility.

Family definition

  • Individual option

    You, Your Spouse, Your up to 4 dependent children up to the age of 25 years and two dependent parents in the Individual Policy.

  • Family Floater option

    Or You, Your Spouse & Your up to 3 dependent children up to the age of 25 years in the Family Floater Policy.

Pre-Acceptance Medical Tests

Pre-insurance medical examination is not required for any proposer, up to the age of 50 years, irrespective of the sums insured subject to the proposal form is clean (without health declaration).

If any of the member is of the age up to 55 years with sum insured up to ₹3 lacs then no pre-acceptance medical test is required.

Insured is eligible for 100% reimbursement of pre-insurance medical tests charges, subject to policy issuance.

Medical Report Validity

30 days from the day tests were done. Medical tests will be done in our empanelled diagnostic centre

  • Inpatient Treatment

    Room rent, board, nursing expenses for a minimum period of 24 hours.

  • Other Inpatient Expenses

    Medicines & drugs, diagnostic materials and X-ray, operation theatre charges, consultants, specialists fees etc

  • Pre & Post Hospitalisation

    From 60 days prior and 90 days post

  • Pre & Post Hospitalisation

    From 60 days prior and 90 days post

  • Day Care expenses

    Covers 409 procedures

  • Ambulance Charges

    For Gold or Platinum Plan – Up to 2000 per hospitalization

    For Topaz or Ruby Plan – Up to ₹750/- per hospitalization and overall limit of ₹1500/- per policy period

  • Patient Care

    For Gold or Platinum Plan – Up to ₹500/- per day for those over 60 years

    For Topaz or Ruby Plan – Up to ₹350/- per day for those over 60 years

  • Accidental Hospitalisation

    Limits can be enhanced by 25% of the sum insured on date up to maximum of ₹1 lakh.

  • Hospital Cash

    Is available under Platinum or Ruby Plan

  • Accompanying Person

    Up to ₹500 per day for child up to 10 years

  • Organ Donor Expenses

    We will pay the Reasonable and Customary Charges incurred for an organ donor’s treatment for the harvesting of the organ donated.

  • Recharge Benefit

    Recharge benefit is applicable for all plans, where the basic Sum Insured opted is 3 Lakhs and above. If the basic Sum Insured and Cumulative Bonus (if any) is exhausted due to claims payable, Restore Sum Insured (equal to 100% of the Sum Insured) will be automatically available for the particular Policy Year subject to policy terms and conditions.

  • Cumulative Bonus

    10% for every claims free year to a maximum of 50% of the Sum Insured.

Other Features

  • Family discount will be applicable in case more than one family members are covered in the same policy in case of Individual Sum Insured option.

  • Loyalty discount:

    2.5% loyalty discount if the client already has a separate Retail Health insurance policy (other than Future Health Suraksha/ Personal Accident/ Travel) from Future Generali India Insurance Co. Ltd.

    Long-term discount up to 10% applicable in case of upfront premium payment for long term policy.

  • Instalment Facility:

    Facility of instalment premium payment is available on monthly, quarterly and half yearly. Loadings maximum of 5% will be applicable on standard premiums as per the instalment frequency opted.

  • Loading on Claim experience:

    There will be no loading on premium for adverse claims experience.

  • Tax benefit:

    Premium paid by any mode other than cash is eligible for tax relief as provided under Section 80-D of the Income Tax Act.

Exclusions of this plan

  • Waiting Periods

    Waiting Period Diseases
    30 days Any illness, diagnosed or diagnosable except those incurred as a result of Injury
    12 months Any medical expenses in connection with any types of gastric or duodenal Ulcers, stones in the Urinary and Biliary systems, Surgery on ears/ tonsils/ adenoids
    24 months Congenital Internal Illness/ disease/ defect anomaly, Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy, Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding, Surgery of Varicose Veins, Varicose Ulcers, Hysterectomy, Surgery for prolapsed inter vertebral disc unless arising from Accident etc
    36 months Any medical expenses in connection with Organ transplant, Joint replacement Surgery due to Degenerative condition
    48 months Pre-existing conditions, any medical expenses in connection with treatment for any mental Illness or psychiatric Illness, AIDS, HIV
  • Congenital External Illness/ disease/ defect anomaly.

  • Costs incurred on all methods of treatment including AYUSH treatments except Allopathic.

  • Expenses incurred towards treatment of Illness or Injury arising out of alcohol use/misuse or abuse of alcohol, narcotic substance or drugs (whether prescribed or not).

  • Hormone replacement therapy, sex change or treatment which results from or is in any way related to sex change.

  • Injury or Illness directly or indirectly caused by or arising from or attributable to war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, war like operations (whether war be declared or not)

  • Vaccination/ inoculation (except as post bite treatment), cosmetic treatments, plastic surgery other than as may be necessitated due to an Accident or as a part of any Illness.

  • Treatment for sterility, infertility (primary or secondary), assisted conception
