Product Information

Health Super saver is a Retail Health Product with 2 plan options: Health Super Saver 1X plan and Health Super saver 2X plan.

All plans are available with individual and floater option and with lifelong renewal facility.

Features Of The Product
  • Super Saver Discount
  • For Health Super Saver 1X plan option, in case, your first year of plan tenure is claim free, you are eligible for Super Saver discount of 80% in the consecutive year
  • For Health Super Saver 2X plan option, in case, your first 2 years of plan tenure are claim free, you are eligible for Super Saver discount of 80% for next consecutive 2 years, or up to first claim, whichever is earlier
  • The plan opted will be common for all members covered under the policy irrespective of Individual and Floater sum insured options.
  • In case there is no claim paid for an insured in an individual policy, the Super Saver discount would be applied for that respective individual’s premium only. In case of claim paid in the first year under 1X plan or in the first 3 years under 2X plan for any insured under the individual policy, the Super Saver discount will not be applicable to the insured. However at the time of renewal Insured has an option to start a new cycle under 1X Plan or 2X plan. In such case, he/she will be covered under a separate policy with new plan tenure on individual sum insured basis.
  • In case there is no claim paid for any of the insureds covered under the floater policy, the Super Saver discount would be applied on total policy premium. In case of claim paid for any insured under the floater policy, the Super Saver discount will not be applicable. However the policy can be renewed with a new cycle under 1X Plan or 2X plan
  • Irrespective of the plan tenure, premiums applicable are on yearly basis
  • An insured has an option to change the plan, sub limit options and sum insured at the time of renewals in case of claim under the expiring policy.
  • Family discount - 10% discount in case of policies with more than 1 member covered under single proposal with Individual sum insureds.
  • Instalment Facility - Available for the policy. Loadings on standard premium will be applicable in case instalment facility is opted.

  • Pre-insurance medical examination – Pre-insurance medical examination will be conducted on the basis of adverse medical declarations in the proposal form, age of member, sum insured opted. Insured is eligible for 100% reimbursement of pre-insurance medical tests charges, subject to policy issuance and 64 VB compliance.
  • Loading on Claim experience – There will be no loading on premium for adverse claims experience.
  • Tax benefit – Premium paid by any mode other than cash is eligible for tax relief as provided under Section 80-D of the Income Tax Act.

What’s Covered

  • Inpatient Treatment

    Room rent, board, nursing expenses for a minimum period of 24 hours.

  • Pre-Hospitalisation and Post-Hospitalisation Medical Expenses

    60 days prior to date of admission and 90 days after the discharge from the hospital

  • Day Care Treatment Expenses

    Expenses incurred under Day Care Treatment requiring less than 24 hours of Hospitalisation

  • Maternity Expenses

    Maternity expenses will be covered after waiting period of only 9 months from policy inception with us We will also cover Pre-natal Medical Expenses incurred on Hospitalisation for a period of 90 days prior to the date of delivery and Post-natal Medical Expenses incurred on Hospitalisation for up to a period of 45 days immediately following the date of delivery.

  • Alternative Treatment expenses

    We will reimburse Medical Expenses incurred for Hospitalization under Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha or Homeopathy.

  • Organ Donor Expenses

    We will pay the Reasonable and Customary Charges incurred for an organ donor’s treatment for the harvesting of the organ donated.

  • Emergency Ambulance

    We will reimburse the ambulance charges up to a maximum of Rs. 1000 per Hospitalisation from Home to Hospital or between Hospitals or Hospital to Home.

  • Home Health Care Services

    We will cover the reasonable and customary charges towards Medical Expenses incurred for Home Health Care Services during the Policy Period and availed through empanelled Service Provider on Cashless Facility basis, subject to policy terms and conditions

Exclusions of this plan

What things are not part of the plan or product under offering?

  • Treatment for, Alcoholism, drug or substance abuse or any addictive condition and consequences thereof.
  • External Congenital Anomaly and related Illness/ defect.
  • Non-prescribed drugs and medical supplies, hormone replacement therapy, sex change or treatment which results from or is in any way related to sex change.
  • Domiciliary treatment, except for claims under Home Health care services.
  • Injury or Illness directly or indirectly caused by or arising from or attributable to war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, war like operations (whether war be declared or not)
  • Vaccination/ inoculation (except as post bite treatment)

What happens next after you have purchased

When you become a Future Generali Health Customer, you will receive a membership pack containing the following:

  • Health card to utilise cashless facility at Network hospitals.

  • Policy Schedule

  • Premium Receipt

  • 80D certificate for tax deduction if the premium is paid via Credit Card/Debit Card, Net Banking, or Cheque except cash payment.
