Jet Set Secure does not cover expenses related to non-allopathic and alternative medical treatments.

Costs associated with cosmetic or plastic surgery are also excluded from the policy.

Vision and dental correctives
The policy does not provide coverage for expenses for spectacles, contact lenses, hearing aids, and cosmetic dental surgeries.

Loss or damage to your passport due to confiscation or detention by authorities will not be covered under this policy.

Jet Set Secure does not cover losses not reported to the police within 24 hours and without an official report.

War-related incidents

What are the geographical areas covered under Jet Set Secure?
Jet Set Secure offers two geographical coverages - worldwide including the US and Canada and worldwide excluding the US and Canada.
What are the age limits in Jet Set Secure?
The age limits for Jet Set Secure are as follows:
Single trip: Minimum 1 day and maximum 70 years
Annual multi trip: Minimum 1 day and maximum 70 years
Student policy: Minimum 16 years and maximum 50 years
- Senior citizens: Minimum 71 years and maximum 90 years
What are the maximum days for which I can take the travel insurance policy?
Travel insurance can last up to 365 days from the start date. Single Trip travel insurance can cover your trip for up to 180 days. With Annual Multi-Trip insurance, your coverage extends for multiple trips, each lasting between 30, 45, 60, or 90 days, depending on the option you've selected.
Who can be covered under Jet Set Secure?
You can cover yourself, your spouse, up to 4 dependent children, parents, and parents-in-law under Jet Set Secure.
What benefit will I get from this insurance in case of a medical emergency?
In case of an emergency, the plan provides the following benefits:
Emergency expenses incurred for any sudden illness or injury.
Emergency medical evacuation.
Emergency outpatient treatment except for pre-existing diseases.
Continuation of medical treatment in India.
Transportation expenses of mortals remain back to India.
Accidental bodily injury during the trip.

Does the policy cover pre-existing diseases?
Yes, the policy covers pre-existing diseases if you opt for it.
Can I buy insurance if I have an immigration visa?
Yes, you can buy travel insurance even if you are traveling on an immigration visa. The maximum duration of your policy can only be 90 days for a single trip.
Whom do I contact while abroad in case of any emergency?
You can contact the Europe Assistance Provider in case of any emergency. All the contact details of the Europe Assistance Provider are specified in the travel policy schedule.
What is an Assistance Service Provider and How do I get in touch with an Assistance Service Provider?
Assistance Service Provider is an organization appointed by the insurance company to provide claim-related services to insured members on any international trip. All the contact details of the Europe Assistance Provider are specified in the travel policy schedule.
What is the minimum & maximum sum insured offered by Jet Set secure?
With Jet Set Secure, you can get a minimum sum insured of USD 35,000 up to USD 5 lakh.
Are there any sub-limits applicable in Jet Set Secure?
Yes, sub-limits are applicable for policyholders aged 55 years and above. There is also an option for the insured to waive off this sublimit.
Are business travelers eligible to purchase a travel insurance policy?
Yes. Jet Set Secure is designed for all leisure, business, and study trips. Business travelers who go abroad frequently can avail of multi-trip plans.
Can I extend my policy in case I extend my stay?
Yes, an extension facility is available under certain travel plans.
What type of travel falls under the decline list?
Coverage for travel to Mansarovar, Haj, and countries where travel restrictions have been issued by the Government of India are excluded from the policy.
Can you buy travel insurance after booking your trip?
Yes, you can buy Jet Set Secure travel insurance after booking your trip. However, you cannot take it after your trip has begun.
Can I be issued more than one policy for the same trip?
No, only one travel insurance policy will be issued per single trip to the insurer by the insurance company.
How can I cancel my travel insurance policy?
Travel insurance companies typically charge a premium to travelers either on a per-day basis or require the entire payment upfront. If the insured returns home earlier than planned, they may be eligible for a partial refund if the premium was paid in advance and no claims were filed during the coverage period.
What do I do first when I fall sick while abroad?
If you fall ill while traveling overseas, you can visit any hospital and inform the travel insurance company after your visit to register a claim for reimbursement.
What if I lose all the original documents?
It is very important to provide all the supporting documents to your travel insurer to get your claim approved. If you fail to produce the original documents, your claim will most likely get rejected and you will not get the claim amount.
Does travel insurance cover me if I cancel my flight?
Yes, your travel insurer will cover all the expenses and losses incurred due to flight cancellation before the date of the departure. However, you have to give a valid reason for the cancellation.
