Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) is the initiative of the National Health Authority (NHA). The government plans to improve its health programs across different states through the ABHA ID. It also aims to connect hospitals across the country digitally.
However, applying for an ABHA ID is voluntary.
Follow these steps to apply for ABHA ID:

Visit the ABHA website and click on 'Create ABHA number'.

Select Aadhar/Driving License based on your preference and click 'Next.'

Enter your ID number and read the declaration carefully.

Select 'I Agree', enter the OTP and click on 'Submit."

Fill out the form carefully, submit and download your ABHA ID.

It allows users to sign up for Personal Health Records (PHR) applications like the ABDM ABHA application for sharing health data.
It is valid in all AYUSH treatment facilities, like Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy.
