Ms. Smita Tibrewal is Chief Insurance Officer (CInsO) at Future Generali India Insurance Co. Ltd where she spearheads Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, and Pricing. Smita's expertise extends beyond the departments she oversees to the broader strategic direction and success of Future Generali.
With an impressive background as a qualified Actuary, Smita brings over 22 years of experience to Future Generali. Her professional journey includes significant tenures at leading insurers such as ICICI Lombard and Reliance General Insurance.
She is a seasoned professional with a rich educational background, holding a Post-Graduate degree in Finance from ICFAI, an MSc. in Actuarial Management from Cass Business School, London, and fellowships from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and the Institute of Actuaries.
Outside of work, her interests lie in music and teaching. She also actively advocates for the cause of ‘Reuse and Recycle.’ Currently, she is exploring a new hobby of learning to play the guitar.
