Future Generali aims to continue investing towards CSR initiatives in 2024-25 in collaboration with non-profits by executing projects covering the focus areas of FGII that will have long-term benefits and measurable impact.
FGII has been implementing Project Ankur in 7 Anganwadi centers in Jharsuguda district of Odisha in collaboration with United Way Mumbai. The project focuses on school readiness & parentability, works with children directly and makes them school-ready during their formative years of development by working on their developmental milestones such as cognitive, social, and emotional development. The project has impacted 800+ beneficiaries.
FGII has been implementing Project Ankur in 28 Anganwadi centers (10 new centres and 18 old centres) in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan in collaboration with Bal Raksha Bharat (also known as Save the Children). The project focuses on school readiness & parentability, works with children directly and makes them school-ready during their formative years of development by working on their developmental milestones such as cognitive, social, and emotional development. The project has impacted 1500+ beneficiaries.
Under this project, FGII has collaborated with The Humsafar Trust on providing education and skill building support to 50 individuals from the LGBTQI+ community. With the support provided, the chances of them being educated and qualified increases alongwith being employed post undergoing courses on upskilling themselves. The project will be implemented in Mumbai.
As part of this project, we have partnered with the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM) on providing scholarships to 4 students from the economically weaker section of the society. All 4 students will be pursuing B. Tech from the institute.
FGII has collaborated with Bhavishya Bharat on a project that will focus on the installation of sanitary vending machines in 10 schools of Sikkim. As part of the same project, awareness camps on menstrual hygiene and haemoglobin assessments will be conducted in schools for students. It looks at benefitting 1000+ students.
Under this project, a digital generator set is installed to support the power backup at the kitchen and help with the cooking facilities of it. With the installation of the generator, the meal program will run without disruptions. The project is undertaken in collaboration with ISKCON.
