Milan P Shirodkar is the Chief Investments Officer here at Future Generali India Insurance Ltd. Over the last 13 years, he and his team have led a widely recognised transformation of the Future Generali from a mere insurance company to a trusted brand.
In his role, Milan oversees all aspects of Future Generali’s investments, portfolio management, and investment policies across all business units. He is responsible for both short-term and long-term investment planning. Milan has been with the Company since he set up FG’s investment department from scratch.
Before joining Future Generali, Milan had worked at SBI’s New York branch, managing the Trade Services department. He was responsible for generating half of the profits for NY Branch! In his illustrious 24-year of experience, he has also worked as a Marine Engineer.
Milan holds a Marine Engineering degree from Marine Engineering and Research Institute (MERI), Kolkata and an MMS from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
