As the Chief Internal Audit Officer, Ritu Sethi is responsible for carrying out audits across all FGII locations to assess the control environment of the Future Generali’s processes and suggest improvement opportunities to enhance the risk management, governance and controls.
Prior to joining Future Generali 5 years ago, Ritu worked as the Head of Internal Audit Team for Birla Sunlife Insurance. She had started out as a Senior Executive in the Accounts and Finance department. It was due to her outstanding skills and accountability that she managed to climb the corporate ladder so fast.
She has also won many awards for her exceptional services at BSLI. Her ability to nurture relationships, combined with her exceptional leadership and communication skills also earned her “The Women Internal Audit Officer of the year” award by Insurance Alerts in 2021.
Ritu has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Mumbai University and is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI. She is also a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Florida.
Ritu is a fitness enthusiast, and likes running, cycling, exercising, and doing Yoga.
