Knowledge based program for West Bengal & North East by Future Generali
Future Generali, the insurance joint venture between the Future Group of India and Generali of Italy, will be running a unique four part life insurance education series for the benefit of consumers, to be telecast exclusively on NE Bangla channel. NE Bangla is a general entertainment Bangla channel, reaching out to viewers across West Bengal and North East states.
The four part series is going to be a part of the programme titled 16 Ana Profit, to be aired at 9 am on four consecutive Sundays beginning 8th March 2009. This initiative is a part of Future Generali’s attempts to simplify the know how of Insurance, in the process making consumers more aware of a variety of offerings and helping them access a range of solutions, catering to insurance needs in the current market times.
Each of the four episodes will focus upon a particular category of life insurance plans, based on a Q & A format between the anchor and a Future Generali spokesperson de-mystifying the features and benefits of the identified plan including tax saving benefits. The four plans that will be discussed over four weeks in chronological order are - Future Freedom, a flexible premium ULIP; Future Pension, a pure pension offering; Future Advantage Pension, a Unit Linked Pension Plan with four fund options, and Future Sanjeevani, a whole life ULIP.
While protecting one’s own future and the future of loved ones it has become even more relevant and necessary in today’s turbulent economic scenario. India has one of the lowest insurance penetration rates in the world with even existing insurance customers being significantly under insured. By adopting customer awareness initiatives like these, Future Generali aims at helping customers understand and analyse their own insurance needs and invest smartly.
