Launches office in Pune to garner more business from the region
Pune, November 26, 2008: Future Generali, the Insurance joint venture between Future Group of India and Generali Group of Italy is opening its office in Pune today to cater to the Western India region.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jayant Khosla, CEO – Future Generali India Life Insurance Co. Ltd. said, “We are expanding into the Western India market by opening our office here in Pune, our key business differentiators are, Total Insurance Solutions, where we reach out as a single company offering Life & Non Life Insurance solutions to customers through each of our channels and our innovative Mallassurance™ model which reaches out to customers at retail outlets, adding a completely different dimension to distribution for the Insurance category in India.”

Future Generali is currently active through 46 branches across 31 cities and over 7000 licensed advisors. The plan is to increase it to 47,000 advisors by March 09, spread across 100 offices in more than 80 cities. Besides this large network of agents & branches, Future Generali will also actively offer their Insurance solutions across 280 Malls and 700 Alliance partners by March 2009.
