The ABHA card's full form is the Ayushman Bharat Health Account. The ABHA card contains a unique 14-digit identification number called ABHA ID. The entire medical history, consultation details, and prescriptions are included in the ABHA ID.
This card is managed under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), which is a digital healthcare initiative of the National Health Authority (NHA). It aims to create, develop, and strengthen the healthcare infrastructure of India. Under this mission, ABHA is one of the prominent steps to facilitate health programs nationwide.

To create a digital health ABHA card, you can apply online using an Aadhar card or driver's license. While applying for ABHA registration with an Aadhar Card, ensure your mobile number is linked with your Aadhar.
Following are the steps required for the ABHA ID creation.
Step 1: Visit the official ABHA website and click 'Create ABHA number.'
Step 2: Select between Aadhar card or driver's license, and click 'Next.'
Step 3: Now, enter your Aadhaar or license number, as per your preference. Make sure to read the declaration carefully.
Step 4: Select 'I agree' with the declaration and enter the OTP sent on your registered mobile number.
Step 5: Click 'Submit'. It will successfully generate your ABHA ID.

How do you download an ABHA card online?
Once you have completed the ABHA registration, you can download the ABHA card easily. If you don't know how to download ABHA card, follow the below-given steps:
Visit the Login page of the ABHA website.
Log in with your credentials, i.e., 14-digit ABHA ID.
Click on 'View Health Card.'
Now, you can download ABHA card PDF quickly.
Alternatively, you can download the 'Activ Health App' from the Play Store or App Store. Log in with your 14-digit ABHA number and proceed with the ABHA card download.
